"Home Again Blues was transferred using a 2.5 mil truncated elliptical stylus in a Stanton 500 stereo cartridge at 76 rpm. The transfer was digitally captured in a stereo mode.

It is not uncommon for the steel needle of a spring powered talking machine to wear one side of the record groove more than the other side, as is the case in Turtle's copy of "Home Again Blues." Because the left signal was cleaner than the right signal, only the left signal was used during the restoration process.
