Talk:
You will hear heavy hiss in the first seconds dimishing to light hiss throughout.
You will also hear some light blasting throughout. You will also not hear the
first fifteen seconds, an orchestal intro, of the orginal performance. Why? Because
heavy noise from record wear could not be diminished to an acceptable level.
So you ask with hiss and blasting and fifteen seconds cut, why add it to the Jukebox? Simple! Turtle is a beautiful Ohio native....
Tech Tidbits:
Victrola 64817, a 10 inch single sided record, was
transferred using a 3.5 mil truncated elliptical stylus in a Stanton 500 stereo
cartridge at 76 rpm on a United Audio Dual 1219 turntable.
